There is a realm where artists dig into the abyss to create works that explore, celebrate, and expose the things that are left unsaid, sometimes with good reason. The dark can provide comfort, privacy, and peace as much as it can invoke fear and terror. Darkness can be a magical cloak that allows us to be more of ourselves, or it can be a lonely prison filled with the vile and loathsome. For everyone, darkness holds its own unique place, and this exhibition seeks to uncover it without disturbing its beauty.
We open this online exhibition to all artists who consider themselves "dark" artists. We are looking for work that interprets and expresses its own perspective on the idea of the dark.

Submit your work online. Because this is an online exhibition, please be sure that your images are good quality. Images will be compressed and reduced for online display. Please note that works containing too much of the background behind the artwork will be eliminated. If you do not want to sell your work through the exhibition, be sure to set the price of that work to $0.00.
Up to 20 works are accepted for submission. The exhibition will be curated to include the highest quality, most relevant, and most cohesive work.
