Not Your Father's Art Show

This is the Spring showcase of photographic art produced by our TBSoPA members. 

This exhibition will first occur in the Kress Contemporary Art building in Ybor City, Tampa from May 3-4. The 2-day exhibition will drive art buyers and visitors to the 3rd floor for an exclusive art-buying experience. The exhibition then moves to Studios @ 5663 in Pinellas County for a 3-week exhibition from July 6-25.

TBSoPA will invite hundreds of followers and fans throughout the Tampa Bay arts community.

Please note: Due to venue restrictions, erotic or controversial work may only be included in the Studios @ 5663 exhibition. Also, submission is FREE to paying members. Non-paying members will be contacted for a $25 submission fee after submission.

Entry Fee: Free to members, $25.00 for non-members. Maximum of 10 Entries.

Eligibility:  Open to all mediums of art except audio and video art. Final work must not exceed 40 x 40 inches.

• Curation/Finalization of work: Within 48 hours after the submission deadline (Please note that this date is always subject to change. Regardless, artists will be notified of acceptance and or rejection via email.)
   
• Work drop off: May 1-2, 2024 between the hours of 12:00pm-5:00pm EST
   
• Exhibition Dates: May 3-4, 2024 6:00pm-9:00pm EST
   
• Work pick-up:  May 6, 2024 between the hours of 12:00pm-5:00pm EST 

IMAGE USE & COPYRIGHTS

The artist retains all copyrights to submitted images and represented artwork. Digital images submitted with the artist's entry are for exhibition selection only. Artists selected to exhibit grant TBSoPA the right to use the selected image(s) on printed materials and the gallery website for promotional purposes only. TBSoPA retains no copyrights to the artist's work.

COMMISSIONS & SALES

TBSoPA will retain a 30% commission on any sold work in the gallery during its exhibition run.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is Cloudfolios? 

Cloudfolios is a platform we use to publish our art calls. Artists submitting their work for consideration will be doing so through the Cloudfolios system. 

How and when will I know if I've been accepted?

Every artist who submitted their work for consideration will be notified by email. Once the work is finalized, an email is sent to the artists automatically by the Cloudfolios system (the same system the artist used to submit). This email will let the artists know which works were accepted and which works were rejected. If you do not receive an email within a couple of days, please double-check your spam folder and or contact us at: jgomez@tampabayfineart.com. 

What happens and what do I do after I am accepted? 

You will drop off your art at the venue on one of the drop-off dates. Unsold work must be picked up at the end of the exhibition or on the designated pickup date/time above. 

How and when do I submit my biography and conceptual statements? 

Artists will be given detailed instructions through their exhibiting details PDF on how to submit their statements. This requirement only applies to artists who are accepted.
