"Resolution" is a resolve, decision, or determination. With the New Year, we typically make resolutions and set goals for ourselves. As an example, we may resolve to spend more time in nature. The theme is flexible and can be interpreted in different ways, which is up to you as the artist. Your artist statement needs to state how your artwork relates to the theme, and your statement will be displayed with the artwork.

Complete the application at https://www.gcaa-artworks.com/calls-to-artists to be considered by our jury committee for this exhibition opportunity at GCAA ArtWorks Gallery, 5546 1st Ave. N., St. Petersburg FL. Exhibition will be on display January 1 - February 28, 2026. A loose interpretation of the theme will be accepted, as well as all media including sculpture. Up to three works per artist will be considered. Maximum size 30x40 in.
A non-refundable $20 jury fee is required, which is the total for all three entries. 30% sales commission of all accepted artwork will be retained by the Gulf Coast Artists' Alliance. Shipped artwork will be accepted with a return label. Additional show guidelines will be emailed to selected artists on December 12th.
