For those of you that were lucky enough to have lived through the glorious British (rock & roll) Invasion of the 60s, you may remember who Lola was! The band, the Kinks, did a song of the same name (look it up), hence the inspiration for this expressionistic painting. I often wondered what the main character of the song might look like... well, meet Lola, the 2021 version! "It's only rock n' roll but I like it"!
