I observe people who naturally connect with others and I wonder what barriers they crossed to find the will and energy to put on the show. I watch them as they perform the dance that makes them loved by some and despised by others. The more outlandish the dance, the wider the gap between the two. But, I've found that even if you sit quietly in the corner without a word to say, you can divide those around you just the same. Even with your wings folded in silence, the gazes and guesses force you to participate, even if only in defense of your boundaries.
