Information

my major Swan Lake painting, inspired by the film "Black Swan", and the Marinsky Theatre performance of the ballet. This painting was begun in 2012 and worked on until 2016. It went through several versions (see attached) of the ballerina's poses. A final glaze of greenish brown was applied to the dry canvas. This work was displayed at the Thousand Oaks Performing Arts Center in March-June 2015.
