As an artist and textile technologist I have always been fascinated by the "up close and personal details" of fibers and objects using electron microscopes, as well as the incredible details found in Radiographs and X-rays.
The idea for my "garden" came from researching electron microscopy images of various shapes, textures, and forms of bacteria. Through my various drawings I found that like all things in our natural world even these microscopic "terrors" have a beauty waiting for the imagination to interpret and bring to life.
