Information

In this woodblock print, the iconic Florida orange is shown sliced, quartered and whole. In carving the blocks, I enjoyed depicting the pebbled texture and radial symmetry. The leaves remind us of its organic origins and animate the composition. Printed by hand in my St Petersburg studio, it was created from three blocks, one for each color.
