Most find Autumn and the falling of leaves annoying, I however, am taken with the wonderous patterns nature creates within their decaying delicate lace-like structures. From life to death there is a beautiful story waiting to be told, even in a leaf....if one stops to look.
Inspiration for this work came from a Cyanotype Negative Print of arranged decaying leaves, dried Wheat, Phleum, Nigella Damascena(Devil in the Bush), dried Dune Grass, dried Flax, and glass discs.
