Information

Exploring unpopular feelings is what I'm interested in. In today's world, Insta-world we are mostly exposed to feelings such as: happiness, joy, confidence, competence, success. Yet underneath it all we struggle with trauma, insecurities, anxieties and fear.
This artwork examines the phase when we can't even describe how we feel. The inferno rock bottom of despair.
All my works start as a digital photograph. Then I take it into photoshop where I spend hours combining it with other images, painting and applying distressed textures and washes.
