Information

Remembering was the first major piece I painted after the death of my husband in December, 2020. I had a moment when some of the grief shifted, and I could look back and find something other than heartbreak and despair in the memories - at least a little bit, they made me smile or laugh more than they hurt.

Remembering was the result of trying to paint that feeling of when his memory finally started to become a blessing.
