A quick sketch by 16th century Venetian artist Tintoretto caught my eye. In his drawing a figure is twisting around to look directly at us, its clothing swirling around with a grid in the background. The face is neither male nor female. I quickly copied the sketch on my iPad while standing in the exhibit.
