Information

A large woodblock print shows two figures, male and female, black and white in alternating bands. It is based on two of my drawings from live models. The woodblock I carved was soft basswood with pronounced grain. When inked and printed by hand, the result is a speckled overall texture echoing the woodgrain. The figures create patterns both realistic and abstract. Image size is 14 by 18 inches.
