Information

This painting is part of a series entitled "Flaming Florida" in which I depict the beautiful flora and fauna of Florida, but with a hint of danger. The underlying tension refers to the encroachment of Civilization upon Nature. Nature will always protest. This painting combines abstraction with realism further blurring the boundaries between fantasy and realism .
