Information
inspired by a garden on Long Island last summer, this Renoiresque work has a contemporary young girl ("jeune fille") who has just been surprised at her rose theft. i tried to keep the overall tone of the piece in greens and yellows, and avoid the distraction of too many different flower colors, therefore i glazed the work with Indian Yellow, then gray. i have frames are available for this work.
