Information

I worked as an Art instructor
for people with special needs
over the course of five years.
My students affected my
work. It was amazing how
the mental state can affect
and interpret reality and the
way we see things.
One of my students was the
sole inspiration behind these
paintings. In addition to
being a person with special
needs, he was schizophrenic
as well .
The color palette used
represents a combination of
joyfulness and darkness to
express a state of cognitive,
behavioral and emotional
confusion.
