Gun violence is an incredibly tragic and common occurrence in the United States- as American as Apple Pie.
As citizens of the USA we are numb to violence; this is our normal. Whether it be another shooting of an unarmed black man by the police or the madman massacring elementary students at our schools, at a certain point, it just turns into news.
America continues to be divided and defined by gun violence. It seems our only solution is thoughts and prayers. Our citizens have become a daily sacrifice to our right to bear arms.
