Wasp empathy. Feeling bad for a wasp was something I never thought could be possible. The wasp had a broken leg. Observing a creature that is known for its aggressive manner and intimidating appearance limping toward me, felt heartwrenching. Yet I was thinking, 'If I somehow help this wasp, afterward, will it sting me?'

Not only is she examining the wasp with abject curiosity, but she is also wondering how she is able to relate herself to a wasp. Something that once instilled venom, begs for my help.
