Six people strut their stuff. These simple block prints were based on my figure drawings of live models. Drawing from a nude model is a basic artistic exercise; it sharpens observational skills and hand/eye coordination.
Simplified and reduced to basics by the printmaking process, the figures become little icons of human posturing. The linocuts were printed on book pages, the text making a wordy background. Materials and process are explicit, with three of the original linocut blocks included in the grid.
