Information

Captivated and captivating. I created this image to convey the mixed messages the beauty industry can send. She grasps to recognize her own beauty within, yet trapped behind others concept of what beauty should be.

To create this image, I did the makeup on my model, body makeup including head to toe silver glitter in varying cuts and sizes, creative art direction as well as the photography. It is then finished in "diamond dust", a glass embellishment to bring the image to life on canvas.
