Information
This is a studio Reconstruction of Johannes Vermeer's classic 1657 oilpainting in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. The walls and props were meticulously prepared to mimic the original, down to the nail in the wall, the fresh bread and milk, and the earthenware and wicker baskets. with assistance form fellow Photographer Myra Theissen.
