Information

The character of Ophelia has always stuck with me. She barely had a role in Hamlet, and yet her death, in my opinion, was the only truly undeserving and tragic loss in that entire play. I wanted to do her justice in my photograph. I have tried to embody her femininity and fragility, and give the feeling of being underwater and alone, and yet Ophelia remains forever young and beautiful floating in the flowers.
