Information

This Pod Sculpture makes me think of the twin towers and firefighters rushing up the stairs to help. Bruce Springsteen's song "The Rising," inspired by the events of 9/11, is about a firefighter climbing the stairs of a World Trade Center tower during the attacks. The album "The Rising" was partly influenced by someone who said to Springsteen after 9/11, "We need you now." The song also has themes about rising up to heaven.
