Growing up, I split my time between Clearwater with my mom and Tierra Verde with my dad after my parents separated when I was seven. Every other weekend, we traveled back and forth, always crossing the Sunshine Skyway. While some people may find bridge daunting for me, it holds a deep sense of nostalgia. It reminds me of my father, who was an artist, every single time I cross it.
I created this piece in his memory. In fact, every piece I make, whether intentionally or not, holds a special place because of him.
