Alchemy At Last was a created in such a beautiful and random way. Originally I was trying to come up with an idea for an upcoming exhibit and was just failing miserably to create something that I was truly happy with as an artist. I’ve been preparing for my upcoming show, and thought that maybe I had just too much going on to put work into a piece. And then I had a vision! As it started to come together Alchemy At Last was so much different then what I intended it to be, but so much more beautiful than I ever imagined. I guess that’s how an artist brain and heart works or at least how mine does.
This piece is an illustration in oil pastel 9x12 in a 12x16 black and white matted frame.
