This piece is a 24x24. As a child and throughout my life my Mom has always had a flower garden. The vibrant colors of the flowers were always calling to me. I can remember watching all the stages of the flowers from budding then showing each delicate petal reaching up to the sky, then hiding during the winter, thinking what it was magical . I would day dream the flowers were alive and we talked while having a picnic. Then as an adult I would always visit my Mom during the spring to help her in the garden while the flowers were blooming. These paintings are done with the feeling of daydreaming with the wind gently blowing as the petals are opening. Mom’s Garden paintings are done bright vibrant colors.
