Information

No matter my mood or what I'm doing, seeing a butterfly always make me pause, bringing me into the present. For this piece I used perforated steel for wings and a sea shell for the head to create something evoking the fragility and beauty of a fantasy butterfly. It is a marriage of my passion for metalworking, love of the ocean and sheer delight I feel whenever I encounter these beautiful creatures.
