Information

Positioned in southern New Mexico at the northern end of the Chihuahuan Desert, White Sands National Park is the world's largest gypsum dunefield. The park spans approximately 115 square miles, and its tallest dunes reach about 60 feet. At sunset, the soft light bathes the sparkling white dunes with an ethereal glow, creating a true other-worldly experience.
