This photographic monoprint was printed on printmaking paper. It is embellished with graphite and water color. The image was made in western New York. It reminds us of the inescapable truth of impermanence.
The asemic writing is an open form script with no inherent content. It is, by design unreadable, and leaves it to the viewer to assign whatever meaning they desire. Alternatively, one could simply rest in the knowledge that much in this life is unknowable.
