Information

Princess Diana was a beautiful woman and amazing humanitarian. It was so sad to see her life cut short at such an early age and before she could continue her work. I used a stippling technique on most of this piece. I tapped the blade tip of a scalpel and x-acto knife on the ink surface hundreds of times to form the image. I used a cross hatch technique on her clothing. I estimate that it took roughly 150 hours to complete this scratchboard. I framed it in a black frame with a white mat.
