Information

This work is made from a photograph of my great great grandmother, Lula. It is a collage reimagining her house, and connecting it to the waters of the Atlantic Ocean. She was not so far removed from the terrible trans-Atlantic journey that was forced up on my ancestors. What had her parents experienced? Her grandparents? May they all rest in peace.
