Information

This mixed-media work is part of my "Velvet Blacklight" series. It is a contemporary interpretation of the "Velvet Elvis" paintings that were sold on the sides of the rural highways and byways of my youth, infused with the pulsating energy experienced whilst in savasana. The found objects are collected on my walks with my dog, Miu Miu, and represent that which does not serve.
