Information

"Hippie Church" is how I would describe the weekly gathering that inspired this painting. A hodgepodge of characters in various states loudly banging with no real guidance other than to quit at sunset. I have seen myself through a few lifetimes of adventures over the years on that stretch of FL-699 just past the inflatable slide. The pounding beat echos through my chest as I cross the street by Publix. The bright sun above welcomes all who enter into a crowd filled with strangers and friends. I have fallen in love a few times on this beach. Licked my wounds here too from love lost. I've been taking pictures out here for over a decade before I even knew why. The pink, purple, and orange coat the sky just as the yellow ball descends into the blue. The shadows of birds and dolphins dance across. God lives here! God receives applause and blessing of Om once the work of the day is done. I am truly honored to share this very special piece.
