Dog days depicts a seasonal ennui; the kind that creeps in with the sweltering blaze of inescapable heat of summer. As your shadow stretches on like the afternoons, the dog days come barking in - step outside and they'll swallow you whole. There's no solace to be found for months on end, and surely it feels this listlessness'll last a lifetime. The city is a particularly brutal solstitial cage, where the sun dares you to find a sliver of shade and fleeting relief while it laps up what's left of your sanity.
