Information

Anger is an unpleasant, yet comfortably familiar emotion for many adolescents.

Daniel is a 17 year old boy posing in an abandoned railroad workers housing complex in rural Thailand. He was born to a German father and Thai mother.

Expectations for masculinity are mixed in Thailand. For example, "ladyboys" are quite common and often looked up to, whereas the same applies to Muay Thai fighters, who exhibit a great deal of testosterone.

This is part of my "Youth and Urban Decay" series featuring children and teens in abandoned structures.

Daniel exhibits masculine traits with his toned physique & attitude, while maintaining a boyish and someone what feminine face.
