Information

Pierre Dutertre is French born artist based in Florida, a treasure in the art world and to the many he mentors. In efforts to treat his Parkinson's disease, he faces the necessary evil of taking a stout medication called Levodopa. This can calm the inhibiting symptoms, including tremors, but can cause inhibiting side effects, including hallucinations. In this portrait I'm exploring the many layers of this experience for Pierre.
