This collage book was inspired by Susanna Clarke's novel of the same name. It is composed of monoprints and collage, including reprints of Giovanni Battista Piranesi (1720-1778). He made a series of etchings etchings called "Imaginary Prisons"
The book is built on a repurposed kids board book, and is displayed on a simple easel, designed to be turned by visitors.
