Information

"Icebound" is a gallery wrapped 16"x40" acrylic on canvas painting, textured with crackle and molding pastes and sculpted using palette knives.

Subtle highlights throughout the painting complement the varying shades of black, creating an illusion of depth that almost pops out when seen in person.

"Icebound" reflects both my fascination and fear with large bodies of water at night. I'm intrigued by icebreaker ships and their functions and journeys.
