Information

14 by 18 inch acrylic painting. This is an abstract man and woman tying the knot of marriage, both a bit nervous and unsure of their decision. I used lots of heart shapes throughout the painting and other interesting imagery. I started this piece by drawing a line down the top middle of the canvas. Then I added the eyes, not knowing what was to come of it yet. The nose and lips came next, by this time I was seeing two different faces, that is when I decided to make one a female and one a male. I drew the shapely bodies and painted the entire canvas. They each have a tear drop or it could be a cheek bone. They may be crying from happiness or fear. The woman looks happy and in control, the man looks scared and very nervous, hahahaha.
