Information

I was excited to paint the female form for this show. I knew I wanted a simple, pared down palette and simple composition.
I love the powerful play the figure has against the background, and the bold, graphic style. I wanted to play off the side and front view of the face, and the emotional feeling the imagery in the body provided.
