Circulus Vitiosus is a complex chain of perpetual events that reinforce themselves through feedback loops, with detrimental results. It's an imbalanced system with no tendency toward equilibrium, at least in the short-term. Each iteration of the cycle reinforces the previous one, in a dark example of positive feedback.
