Information

Coastal Reflections is a mixed media work that was inspired by a photo I took on an overcast day at Clearwater Beach. It features the schooner, Clearwater that takes charters out several times a day. I loved the grey colors, but wanted to also show the dark green hull. The painting is acrylic, and I embellished some of the waves with silver leaf. At an angle, it creates nice points of interest. It was recently awarded Second Place in the Reflections Art Show Exhibit at the Beach Art Center, at Indian Rocks Beach, Florida. It is museum wrapped, and has a coat of UV varnish.
