“Duality of Identity” delves in the complexities of emotional duality. My exploration of identity and culture resonates deeply with the concept of how we, as individuals, often navigate between different facets of ourselves. Using acrylic and plaster, I wanted to emphasize this tension between the external and the internal, creating texture to represent the rawness of emotion. The sharp contrasts in color and texture reflect the complexities of our identity, suggesting that we are always balancing multiple realities.
