Information

As a classically trained potter accustomed to making functional porcelain and stoneware vessels, I was lucky enough to turn my stay at home orders into a stay at home residency in 2020 and start to expand my skill set into sculpture. My primary targets are rats as their traditional reputation as bringers of plague and misfortune to anthropomorphize.
This self portrait recreates this time and is primarily made of clay, wire and paper.
