Artist Statement

Texture: the feel, appearance, or consistency of a surface or substance. My works are very textural... the way it affects the paint flow, the way it catches the light. It's another layer of depth beyond the paint itself. Sometime subtle, sometimes extreme, both usually evoke the viewer with a desire to touch and understand it.

Biography

A Florida based painter, creating unique abstract works using acrylics and texture. An alumni of the 2022 Gasparilla Festival of the Arts Emerging Artists. Developing new techniques while blending them with traditional knowledge, leads to the freedom to experiment and develop art organically. Mainly concentrating in abstract art, with the use of different materials to create paintings that are bold, textural and inquisitive.
