Artist Statement

My passion and desire to create is the overwhelming force in my life. As a painter I like to explore different mediums and techniques in an attitude of play. I never have an idea in mind but approach each piece from a perspective of "What if?", trusting my intuition to lead the way. My paintings develop in a way that I often feel like the observer, or co-creator in this wonderful journey called Art.

Biography

Candy Schultheis is an award winning
artist who lives and has her studio in
Dunedin, FL. She has shown her work
throughout Rhode Island and Florida,
including many solo shows and one
international show.
Her work is currently on exhibit at the
Dunedin Fine Art Center, Celestial Circle
in Palm Harbor, and
in her home studio.

Schultheis is on the faculty of the
Dunedin Fine Art Center teaching
workshops and classes in Intuitive
Painting and Mixed Media. She gladly
welcomes commissions and visitors to
her studio.
