Knicki Lucrezi

Artist Statement

Building on the idea that life has multiple layers and meanings, I work to bring a glimpse of the different aspects and views of the everyday through the lens of the camera.

Biography

Knicki Lucrezi is a Florida transplant from the Pacific Northwest where she spent time as a lifestyle photographer with work ranging from catalog and editorial to fine art group exhibits.

After moving to the St Petersburg area, she co-launched Urban Dog Studio in the Pinellas Arts Village, recently voted "Best of The Bay" Photographer in 2021 (Tampa Bay Area). Co-authored and published "Dogs Of The Burg", a book spot-lighting local dogs and the history of the city of St. Petersburg.

Her current projects continue the often-unconventional use of focus and composition to give an insight to her mood and often her vulnerability. An ongoing record of hidden 'scapes around us with a touch of darkness and deep thought.
