I feel that after many years of struggling to find my purpose I realize I have had it for many years. I want to help people see beauty in what is around them seen thru my eyes. The human form and emotions between a couple have always fascinated me with their beauty. My purpose as an artist and a person are to use my given talents to make my part of the world a more beautiful place.
Originally, I am from a dairy farm in northern Wisconsin. My artistic journey began by drawing the markings on our cows. I attended the University of Wisconsin - River Falls and received my bachelor's degree in Fine Art. At 30 years old, I was in an auto accident leaving mw with traumatic brain and spinal injuries. I love to draw and paint realistic art using watercolors, pen and ink. My inspiration is the artwork of Alphonse Much; with my focus on nature, florals, and human figures. My injuries resulted in clouded thinking and hand tremors. Because of the this, I visualize things differently and unsteady hands made it difficult to do fine details. Today my artwork is influenced by both traumas and blessings I have endured.
