Mi work is based in experiment , effects , send a message using texture , drawing it's a very important detail in my work even if I use the stain , I get in to a communication between the material I used as a support and the one conforme the piece

Biography

BiografÃÆ'­a

RaÃÆ'ºl Proenza: Born in Miami, United States on June 10, 1959. He grew up in Cuba where he graduated in 1978 from the San Alejandro National Art Academy in Havana. After graduation, he was sent to carry out his social service to the eastern provinces, where he worked as a teacher of drawing and painting in the elementary school of Art of Manzanillo, where he participated in several exhibitions. In the exodus of 1980, arrives in the United States and is established in New York City where he participates in several group exhibitions in different galleries and personal shows. In 1984 he moved to Los Angeles, there he made other exhibitions. Since 1998 he lives in the city of Miami, where he participates sporadically in several exhibitions.
