Artist Statement

I've experienced a lot in my life, both good and bad. I've been given an understanding about life that many haven't experienced or processed the meaning of yet. My understanding is to help others grow in knowledge and wisdom about their circumstances through their interpretation of my work. Because my art evolves from my heart it is truly authentic and meaningful to those that know me, my experiences and my life. We all have our human experiences in common and can openly share that with each other and through my art. I can only hope my art inspires and gives hope and joy to those who encounter it. I would also hope that my art reminds the viewers that good things, even great things take time to develop and mature, to be patient in all things and not to act in haste. In the end, it will all be okay, no matter what happens. Never give up, never give in, never quit. Tomorrow is a new day and a new chance to create something new and exciting and beautiful. It is my mission to create beautiful, meaningful, and memorable pieces of art work for my clients, who deserve the best of what I have to share.

Biography

I am a self taught, faith filled artist that creates from the heart. I usually paint in the style of the Old Masters either in oil or acrylic. I also enjoy pencil and pastel. I discovered the Old Master's style in college and my heart was moved by it. I find this style of painting very satisfying because it encompasses both tradition and structure. Because of the long arduous process my heart is woven into every piece of work I create regardless of the medium or subject matter. I have a very deep faith and I invite God to use me to speak the words he has written on my heart to others, whether that is through beauty, meaning, metaphors or the viewer's own experiences. Each work I create speaks a different message according to the viewer's experiences and their interpretations. I believe each piece has true meaning to those viewing it and is created to inspire or give hope to the person that the piece is meant to belong. I feel very blessed to have been given this gift and am happy to share it with anyone that is inspired by my work or my story.
